Are you curious about careers in data science but unsure where to begin or which role fits you best? This four-session mini-course starts with an overview of data science roles for PhDs and how to prepare for a technical interview. We will then be joined by panels of data science professionals to take a deep dive into the skillsets required for success in careers in healthcare, technology, business, and commercialization.

Session 1: Overview of Data Science Careers
In this session you will get an overview of the different fields that comprise data science. This overview will expand beyond the four domain areas that will be covered in the following panel discussions.
Session 2: Applying for Data Science Roles and Demystifying Technical Interviews 
Session 3 and 4: Data Science in Healthcare, Technology, and Business and Commercialization
