Quantitative Analytics Specialist, Wells Fargo

Dr. Yaxin Cui earned her Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University, where her pioneering research in data‐driven network analysis and consumer preference modeling established the foundation for her work in quantitative analytics. At Wells Fargo, she harnesses machine learning and time series analysis to develop advanced risk management models for financial markets.

Emre Ergeçen

Quantitative Researcher, IMC

Dr. Ergeçen received his PhD in Physics from MIT, focused on the characterization of quantum materials. In 2023, Emre joined IMC trading in Chicago as a quantitative researcher where he continues to investigate the complex financial markets.

Ziwei Wang

Quantitative Researcher, Trexquant

Dr. Ziwei Wang received his PhD in Geophysical Sciences from the University of Chicago in 2024, focusing on understanding the mid-latitudes thunderstorm activities in current and future climates. He is currently working as an Alpha Researcher at Trexquant, a medium-sized hedge fund, where he leverages physical/market ideas into executable trading strategies.
