Building Effective Relationships
This mini-course helps participants build more effective, sustainable relationships in professional settings. It does so by analyzing one current professional relationship that is not working as desired. The course emphasizes structured, theory-informed reflection.
Across a series of sessions, participants will:
- Explore core theoretical frames that shape effective relationships, including reciprocity, authority, and multidimensional trust
- Apply these frames to their own and others’ cases to generate new insights and concrete strategies for improving communication, alignment, and mutual understanding.
By the end of the mini-course, participants will have a sharper conceptual toolkit and practical approaches for intentionally building more effective, trust-rich, and productive relationships in their academic and professional lives.
