Project Management Essentials for STEM PhDs

In this two-session workshop, STEM PhD students and postdocs will be introduced to the fundamentals of project management and how these concepts can be applied directly to their research. The session will provide a toolkit of practical approaches, terminology, and processes drawn from established project management standards. Participants will learn how to use these tools to plan and organize their own projects more effectively and to collaborate productively as part of larger research teams.

You are encouraged to bring your laptop or tablet to each session. This workshop is designed to be participatory and conversational, and attendance at all sessions is strongly encouraged.
