From Lab to Classroom: Careers in K-12 and College STEM Teaching
Monday, November 2, 2026, 5:30 – 6:30 PM CST
Join myCHOICE for a panel discussion with professionals working across K–12 classrooms, college instruction and science outreach. Panelists will share how they’ve built meaningful careers connecting their academic training to students at every level, from teaching high school science and to taking on lecturer and teaching-focused faculty positions at colleges and universities. Hear about teaching and instructional opportunities in K–12 and higher education settings, key skills for success, and how to transition from academia into roles centered on scientific teaching and student success.
